Christian Schüler appointed CEO of Athlon

Schiphol, February 1st, 2021 – Christian Schüler, previously President & CEO of Banco Mercedes-Benz do Brasil, succeeds Gero Götzenberger as CEO of Athlon as of today. Gero Götzenberger has joined Daimler Mobility in Stuttgart, Germany, as Global Head of Strategy and Transformation.
Christian Schüler has been with Daimler Mobility since 1996 and has held various management positions all around the globe in Asia, Europe and Latin America. In 2010, Christian Schüler became the CEO of Mercedes-Benz Compañía Financiera Argentina followed by further CEO positions in Russia and Brazil, where he headed Banco Mercedes-Benz do Brasil since 2017.
