Schiphol, 2 June 2025 – Athlon has appointed Pieter Goossens as VP International Commerce & Strategic Partnerships per 1 June, a position he held on an ad interim basis until now.
In this role Pieter Goossens succeeds Mohamed El Maknouzi who left the company to pursue other opportunities. Pieter will continue to combine the role with that of Manager Global Business Development, a role he has held since 2018. Before that, he was with Athlon Belgium for 12 years in various roles, mostly focused on smarter mobility and electrification.

Almere - Sabine Kroesemeijer is the new HR Country Manager of Athlon BeNeLux and International. Since the beginning of the year, she has held this position on an interim basis. Sabine is part of the Management Team of Athlon BeNeLux and reports to Head of HR and ExCom Member Esther Westerhof.
