Both chargers use live data from the grid to automatically reach the desired charge level within a schedule. The car is charged when electricity demand is lower and prices cheaper, while still meeting the desired charging goal.

Access control: Use the app to create a lock schedule to lock the charge point during certain hours.
Smartphone app: Monitor energy usage, charging costs & emissions; enter your electricity tariff; and start, stop & schedule charging sessions. Connect your car to communicate state of charge and set target (requires compatible EV model)
Fuse protection: Automatically adjusts power to avoid exceeding home's main fuse capacity when other appliances are running.
Smart scheduling: Automatic charge scheduling to charge during your electricity tariff's cheapest or greenest hours, and avoid charging above a set electricity price (requires time-of-use tariff).
Manual scheduling: Set the charge start and end times. It also integrates with BMW, Hyundai, Jaguar, Land Rover, Kia, Nissan, Renault, Tesla and MINI vehicles to let you set the state of charge or miles of range required.
Tariff connection: Select your electricity supplier and tariff in the smartphone app so the charge point knows when prices are cheapest.
Internet connection: Internet connectivity via 2G / 3G / 4G sim.
Over-the-air updates: Receives the latest firmware and software updates over-the-air

Terms and conditions
The offer is available on a first come first served basis and is subject to stock and availability. The offer applies to new customers ordering a BEV before stocks run out, on an Athlon Finance Contact Agreement. The vehicle must be registered and delivered by March 31st 2025 or before stock runs out.
Offer applies to Athlon UK customers only - available on selected vehicles. Each validated customer order will be confirmed by Athlon Sales Support, your order is not confirmed until such time that you receive written confirmation. If you cancel your order with Athlon UK, you may be liable to pay for the full cost of the Ohme home EV charger and installation. This offer is non-transferable and non-refundable. There is no cash or finance equivalent available. Athlon reserves the right to withdraw the offer at any time. Your statutory rights are not affected by this offer.
Customers will need to share their personal data directly with Ohme who will make contact to complete the ordering process and confirm the preferred Ohme home EV charger as well as arranging a review of the installation requirements.
The offer allows the choice of either the 7.4kW Ohme Home Pro (5m tethered cable), or the 7.4kW Ohme ePod (untethered), with standard installation included. Standard Installation is subject to survey, please see https://ohme-ev.com/support/whats-included-in-a-standard-installation/ for details on what is considered a standard installation.
Ohme will charge you directly for any non-standard or additional work required. The Ohme home EV charging offer is not for use at commercial premises. If you intend on fitting your charger at a commercial property you must first seek approval from Athlon before instructing OHME on the installation requirements.
Athlon is not responsible for any damage that may be caused as part of, or due to the installation of the charging unit on your property.
The OHME installation requires that you must be:
- The homeowner (or a full-time resident at the address) or renter with the landlord’s written permission.
- Off-street parking at your property within your home boundaries and not on public/ council owned space.
- Installation must take place within 4 weeks prior to or 12 weeks post vehicle delivery.
- You are responsible for obtaining all permissions for installation.
As an Ohme customer you will have access to an Ohme driver app, customer support, 3 years of SIM connection and a 3-year warranty. These services as well as the charger installation will be arranged and maintained between the customer and Ohme directly and Athlon has no commitment, responsibility, or liability for the charger, installation, accessories (if applicable) or these services.
