Crown Paints is renewing and growing its fleet of commercial vehicles with new electric Mercedes-Benz Vito vans, supplied by long-term automotive lease partner Athlon.
The vans, which will be based at a number of Crown's Decorator Centres located throughout the United Kingdom, are fully electric.
The Race to Zero
The contract is the latest agreement in a long and successful partnership between Crown and Athlon. The relationship already spans 12 years, during which time Athlon has managed the operational fleet requirements for both car and Light Commercial vehicles.
Both parties state the new contract demonstrates their shared vision to support the UK Government's "Road to Zero" drive by making their operations more sustainable and work towards pan-European objectives of zero fossil fuels by 2025.
Growing for greener
Athlon is seeing rapid growth in the number of orders of Electric Vehicles (EVs) for both cars and LCVs.
