    1. How are you leading the way for customers and colleagues?

I enjoy being part of the Athlon environment and contributing to shaping our strategy and further developing our culture. In Athlon Iberia, we strive to be approachable, flexible and effective in finding solutions to our customers’ challenges. To do so, we count on a great team with very broad business knowledge and a strong commitment to our values and targets, which fosters a supportive relationship among all departments.

    2. Where do you think your professional career will lead you?

As a company we have a very interesting journey ahead, with ambitious plans and new initiatives. I look forward to being a part of the journey to help achieve those ambitions.

    3. Who’s an inspiring leader to you and why?

I am a tennis fan and being from Spain, you can easily guess… Rafa Nadal! His sportsmanship and competitive mindset, together with his attitude to overcome difficult situations and achieving the impossible in every match, is very inspiring to me. Federer´s farewell was a great example from both of them!

    4. What’s the kindest thing a colleague ever did for you?

We moved to Barcelona from the Netherlands just before the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown and had to find a school for our kids in a location we had never visited before. A colleague very kindly provided advice and used his personal network to help us. I am very grateful for how he helped us during a period of uncertainty.

    5. What’s your passion outside of work?

Aside from tennis, I love electronic music. I enjoy listening, clubbing and being behind the turntables mixing my own sessions… A while ago I played at some nice venues as part of a DJ collective. Nowadays I still enjoy practicing for myself or at friends' parties.
